Do you offer a fixed price for grant writing?
I provide an estimated cost after assessing what support you need, such as searching, writing, review, or a combination. If I’m approaching the estimated hours, I’ll discuss this with you before continuing.
As a small organisation, can I apply for grants?
Yes. Many grants specifically encourage applications from small organisations and community groups. Eligibility depends on the grant requirements, but being small doesn’t exclude you from funding opportunities.
What sectors do you have experience in?
I have experience across community services, health, education, environmental, infrastructure, and business services. I’ve also written grants across sectors including research, agriculture, manufacturing, and development.
I've hired you - will I still need to do anything?
Yes, but much less than doing it alone. I work in partnership with you. As the expert on your organisation, I’ll need your input to develop a strong application. Over time, as I learn more about your work, your involvement can reduce.
How long does the grant writing process take?
Timelines vary depending on the complexity of the grant and the level of preparation needed. Typically, I need around two weeks for a comprehensive application, but I can work with urgent deadlines where possible.
